Legal Question in Family Law in California
How long do I wait to get a court date after I have filed the at issue memorandum. I received the paperwork back from the court, and it was stamped with a received date of 12/27/10

I am assuming you meant that you filed an at issue memorandum for trial. You would need to check your local court rules on the exact procedure for setting a case for trial. The court clerk may have some procedural information for you. You might need to file an at issue memorandum and then set up a court date to have a trial setting conference. I suspect that might be the next logical step for getting a trial date.
For self represented individuals you can consult with the family law facilitator self help center at your local court house.
As always please consult a local attorney prior to taking legal action. Good luck. Also please check out my Santa Clara County Family Lawyer blog.
