Legal Question in Family Law in California

I am lost!

My boyfriend and I have lived together for 3 years and now he wants me to move out. I gave up my job, my apt, my car and all my furniture for him so we could move into our new home that I found and now he is telling me to move out! I have hardly any money, no car and no belongings (furniture, linens, kitchenware etc) I have NO idea what to do here! Plus I have 2 dogs (one from before) and one that we bought together. I took him into my home 3 1/2 years ago when he was going through a divorce, incurred credit card debt from him because of his bad credit, supported him through his drug and alcohol rehab and developed a relationship with his children. This all seems wrong to me and he says because I am not ''his Wife'' it is not his problem BY LAW! I really do not know what to do here? Do I have any rights? He is a multi million dollar record producer and is not willing to even help me! I am not asking for much, just help getting on my feet (deposit for a cheap apt, help with getting a car and some money for bills) I hardly have enough right now to make a car insurance payment! Please if there is any advice as of what to do here I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you so much

Re: I am lost!

Your case sounds very similar to the Lee Marvin case. You may be entitled to "Palimony" as well as division of assets of a partnership.
