I lost a job that had me paying 1000 bucks a mont in child support. My exwife was fine with me paying 25 % of my new income. no that the kids are grown she wants the difference of what I was not paying her. I failed to modify my court order to reduce when I lost my job. Am I screwed?

Yes, if by screwed you mean that you ower her the remaining balance. You should have modified the child support order when your income changed, or at least tried. An order for child support is what is known as an installment judgment. The installment judgment has only been partially satisfied, by partial payments.
