Legal Question in Family Law in California
lying to obtain a restraining order
my soon to be x recently had a mild stroke and used it to obtain a tro against me. he claimed that i was badgering him and the stress from it would be a death sentence for him. Right after the alleged stroke he flew to pebble beach and played golf for 2 days with his dad and our son. Also he was seen jumping on our trampoline. And at the same time the tro was in affect he was playing baseball on a mens league. Through out the whole divorce he has lied and lied and painted a terrible picture of me. He has filed many things against me none of which are true and my lawyer has not done anything about any of it. He has and is keeping my son from me, although I have 50 50 i have seen my son 4 days in three months. My son says his dad tells him what to say. I've paid my lawyer over $50,000.00 to date, and he's done nothing, help!

Re: lying to obtain a restraining order
You need to look for a new lawyer. Call the local bar association and get a referral.
