Legal Question in Family Law in California

Making My Own Custody Contract

I want to know if I make a contract stating that I have sole legal and physical custody of my child, sign it, have my daughter's father sign it, maybe also having a witness present to both signatures and have them sign it also with the dates, is it considered a binding legal contract and be taken seriously as so if ever brought up in court? (This contract means that the father gives up any rights to his child.)

Re: Making My Own Custody Contract

The "contract", more an "agreement" actually, will be modifiable at any time. Better to go for support.
