Legal Question in Family Law in California

After making a payment, my balance will increase, WHY?

I make a payment, my balence went down 325.00.The next month it increases 462.00. Next one decreases 181.00 and next one increases 137.00. This does'nt appear to be how I thought I would get my debt paid off. Plus my court ordered payments increased without my being notified. Do only I have to file a motion for a modification?

You would file a motion to modify your support, and you would file another motion to have a judge or commissioner determine what, if anything, is past due.

For a specific opinion regarding your individual circumstances, I suggest that you consult with an experienced family law lawyer. Experience is not expensive, it's priceless!
