we are a male & female who entered into a domestic partnershipand now want to get married. is there anything we have to do in regards to the domestic partnership agreement

Are you SURE you entered into an actual legal domestic partnership? Unless one of you qualified for Social Security retirement benefits at the time you formed the domestic partnership and you filed all the appropriate paperwork with the Secretary of State, you do not actually have a domestic partnership. You may have some form of cohabitation agreement but not a legal domestic partnership. Without being certain if you actually have a legal domestic partnership (highly unusual in mixed gender couples) it is not possible to answer your question.
