if i have a man on parole staying at my house with me and my 3yr old, and he has drugs on him, if the police show up when I am at work can I get charges for any reason?

Please say you are kidding. You are leaving your 3yo with a parolee who has drugs and may be on drugs, and all you are worried about is if you can be charged with a crime? What is wrong with you? And the answer is "yes" by the way.

Criminal charges are not the only thing you should be concerned with. If this is reported to Child Protective Services, there is a chance you could have your child removed from your custody for child endangerment.

Chances are, his parole terms contain what are known as search terms. This means that the police don't need to have a warrant to come and search him, or your residence where he is living. What's to stop him from telling the police the drugs are yours?
