Legal Question in Family Law in California
I would like to mandate visitation between my daughter (13 yr. old) and her biological father so that it is between the two of them only in order to establish a relationship. His wife won't allow him to see her unless she is present which I do not favor. Can visitiation be granted so that only the child and bio parent be involved?

It really depends on what your reason is for not wanting her around your daughter. There are many custody cases where it appears that one ex is still trying to run the show or continue the arguing, and you want to make sure the Court does not see you into that category. If you feel strongly about this and your ex does not agree, you could go to court. Be prepared, however, to pay either appointed counsel for the child or for a 730 evaluation, which can be very expensive.
