Legal Question in Family Law in California

Can mandatory overtime onjob be excused from my net income .

Can my overtime which is mandatory be excused since i am made to work it. In california they are counting it as part of my net income for a child support case in which the child lives with his mother in texas and the cost of living is less than half of what it would be in california.

Child support is based on your average income for the past 12 months. The exception is when employment is lost or income is reduced by your employer. California law requires that regular overtime be included in your income for child support.
