Marital rights/medical decisions for husband

I need to know my legal right for making medical decisions for my husband.34 yrs old. He filed dissolution of marraige without my knowledge,due to treat by father no inheritance if not divorced. now he is hospitalized which I found out in October by his father ..I went to downtown it was never finalized.I replied with Marraige cousel.no court date yet.We have been married since 1991.His parents have controlled his monies since 1997. We have been seperated on and off not legally.He has lived at parent since 1997.His insurance runs out in 2 weeks. We have a 9 yr. old.Can I make medical decision if not competant/can I request his mail to pay insurance?And monies they have of his in their bank account. Does his parents have the right? what rights do they have?

You may apply for conservatorship if he is incompetent. His parents may contest the appointment and request that they be appointed. Seek counsel immediately, call me directly at (619) 222-3504.
