Legal Question in Family Law in California

marriage laws

I need to know in the state of california, i have had no contact with my wife for about 10 years and have no idea where she might be. How do I proceed with a speedy divorce?

There is no speedy divorce. You still must wait for six months after she has been served with the summons and complaint or publication is complete if you serve her by publication. Good Luck, Pat McCrary

In California the most common ground for a dissolution of marriage is "Irreconcilable Differences". There is no ground of "Abandonment" for a dissolution of marriage in California. Anyone that states that such a ground exists is suspect.
