Is my marriage legal?

In june I was married in the state of Nevada. In july my husband told me he discovered his divorce from his first wife had never been signed, filed, or recorded. He went to San Bernardino County where the divorce was suppose to have been filed. It was not filed or signed by him or his first wife. He claims he filled out some papers and him & his first wife signed them and now the divorce is retroactive to the original court date. Is that possible? Is my marriage legal and binding? I have never seen any documentation on his ''Divorce''. What should I do?

there is no way to know without looking at the court file and reading the order.
