Legal Question in Family Law in California

Is my marriage legal?

I got married in June. In August my husband learned that his divorce from his previous wife was not yet finalized (also California). That divorce was finalized in October. Are we now ''automatically'' married, or do we need to get married again?

Since he was still married at the time of your marriage, I would think the courts would hold your marriage void. You will need to remarry.
