Marriage and preious debt

Is there a wy to set up yoru financial affairs before a civil marriage so that neiterh spouse is responsibile for the other's preious debts and that his/her money will not be counted as joint ncome?

Typically a spouse is not responsible for the other spouses debts incurred before marriage. However a creditor often goes after both parties in a marriage for debts. I would make sure the creditor is aware of the nature of the separate property character of the debt.
