married to a bigamist

do i have any legal rights, if he dies, does everything go to his number one wife? if i wanted to leave him, do i have to divorce him or is my marriage not legal and void? am i criminal in any way for marring him, i didn'i know at the time?

From the date of your marriage until the date you learned of the bigamy, you would be a putative spouse. A putative spouse is treated the same as a spouse. There have been several cases similar to yours. I did not follow these cases, but I would expect that there would be some sort of equitable division of the property that was accumulated during the time you thought that you were married. Also continuing to live with him after discovering the fraud will change your status to just someone living with him. Contact an attorney about your situation.
