If I was married in california is it legal in Mexico and what are the laws in mexico about US marriages?

If you are concerned about what the laws are in Mexico you should consult with a lawyer in Mexico to get some answers. As for whether your marriage would be valid in Mexico, most likely it would be. Most countries recognize other countries validly performed marriages as an act of reciprocation.
