Legal Question in Family Law in California

I married my husband when he was in jail. We have been married a total of 5 yrs and 1 month. He has been free for 3 months total. I stored all his things the whole time and he promised to take care of me. While free he never gave me a dime for bills. He took off with my best friend and now has served me with divorce papers that state we were only together 1 month! Am i able to collect any support?

I don't think prisoners get paid that much that would really make it worth pursuing.

While you may not get much in the way of support, you do want to get the dates of the marriage correct on your responsive pleading. Good luck with this.
