Legal Question in Family Law in California

I am married and live in CA. I plan to launch my own business. If another half in the marriage doesn't do anything with the business, in case the marriage failed, how my business will end up? Still belong to my self? Or split half between two?

Really appreciate your advices.

Thanks.

The business would be the result of your efforts, which are community property. Unless you have separate property money, the start up money would be community property. The most likely result would be for the value of the business to be obtained, Then you would have to pay her one half of the value of the business.
