married male who recently aquired profitable business, wife doesn't work and we have one small child. her name is not on business. if we divorce how much of business/profits is she entitled too?

There are too many variables to answer your question conclusively. A key factor is where the money came from to buy the business. If it was community property then she is entitled to half the business value at the time of divorce pretty much for certain. If it was part separate and part community assets used to acquire the business, or if it was all separate but you then operate and build the business during the marriage and then get divorced, then it get's rather complicated and generally will involve accounting and appraisal experts to sort out.
