Legal Question in Family Law in California

I married a man in July 2010, lost 10's of thousands of dollars joining our homes, moving to TX and taking a job with less salary, then later discovered he was hiding his alcoholism and assoc. abuse. There's a lot of stuff in between, but basically, I want to know if I can ask for annulment based on fraud and ask for a settlement. Thanks.

There is a possibility of that if you really didn't know about any of that prior to marriage. Getting a settlement in family court is doubtful, but if money is there, perhaps in civil court.

Unless you have been a resident of California for the last six months, your marriage is under Texas jurisdiction and the law of TX will govern pretty much everything. You need to ask a TX attorney.
