Legal Question in Family Law in California

Hello- I have been married for 11 months and my husband wants to file for divorce. He makes much more money than me and pays for the rent. Will I be able to get alimony from him? He makes a lot of money becasue he has his pwn business and is able to show on taxes he makes much less because he writes a lot off. I currently have a expensive car under my name becuase he did not want to use his credit and I do not want to be stuck with the car because I cannot afford it. Please help me.

If you have only been married for 11 months, you will get very little. Probably no spousal support (there is no such thing as alimony in CA), maybe a small payout for a small share in his business. If the car is worth more than is owed on it, claim it was a gift and then sell it if you don't want it. If you lived together a long time before getting married that might change your situation a bit, if you worked before moving in together and then he wanted you to quit or reduce your work to care for your home or something. But if you've been working at the same level since you met, after an 11 month marriage you pretty much just go back to square one and start over.
