Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have been married for 23 months and most the marriage my husband did not work. i do not want to give him spousal support we have a history of domestic violence which happened a few days before we got married we were together for 2 years before we got married there has been abuse throughout the marriage not physical but mental and emotional abuse. Would I still have to pay spousal support

Not likely and if so, not much or for long. The marriage is of too short duration.
