Legal Question in Family Law in California
If you have been married for five years to someone who wont allow you access to money or credit cards, that closed two joint checking accounts, [that were only open
3 or 4 months each] without your knowledge, who wont allow you access to a vehicle, whom owned the home you live in before marriage, and if you try to assert your rights, he gets mad and will go as far as to take all ' priviledges ' like cigarettes ect. and just basically controls your every move. Has also lied to the law that has led to domestic battery convictions and has you stuck and all friends and family are on the east coast, Can anything be done legally and in a hurry. I know the word is go but thats not an option until I can get some help. Please answer.

I'm not sure why you say you cannot go. There are shelters for abused women in your community, I'm sure.
While that is a personal decision of yours, I think you should try to get help to do a legal separation or for divorce. There are legal aid organizations that should be able to help you file such a petition in court for free. There may be other options also.
