Legal Question in Family Law in California

I am married for 23 years but I want a divorce. However, my husband and I own a small restaurant that's not doing too well and two houses. Is there anyway for me get half of the finances without having to wait until the restaurant and the houses are sold? I have 4 kids and 3 of them are over 18.
