Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have been married for 21 years and my husband left. He has rented somewhere local and will not disclose where that is. We have 2 children and he demanded to take them and again in a week for 2 weeks. He has NEVER been home and has always travelled. My youngest stayed home with me, but will not say where his place is. In addition, he has taken all of our money(millions) and I have NO access to it. My lawyer just said enjoy your quiet weekend. I can't even breathe. Haven't worked in 21 years and no income. Help! Shouldn't I have receive immediate spousal support?

If there isn't a stipulation for interim support reached out of court, your only remedy is to go before a judge on this issue. If your family law attorney is experienced, listen to counsel's guidance on how to proceed.

Your attorney can file for immediate temporary support and custody orders that include that he keeps you Informed as to his current address. If you do not feel that your attorney is representing you in a manner that you are happy with, you can always start looking for a new attorney. There are many that offer a free initial consultation.
