Legal Question in Family Law in California
This matter involves an attorney who lied to the court about having a Declaration of Paternity when submitting ex parte request for emergency custody. This paper was never filled out in the hospital and did not exist in this situation. No papers signed at hospital. No father on birth certificate child has mothers last name. Judge must have over looked this because he granted the ex parte request. But when Respondent went before him at the first hearing to address this the judge admitted on record he made a mistake in doing so. He addressed this to the attorney and was given a small apology and explanation of "Im sorry usually I have that in my file." Is there anyway to make that attorney accountable? They knew obviously there was no such paper work.

I suggest getting the transcripts of the court hearings, and complaining to the State Bar.
