Legal Question in Family Law in California
Meaning of forms??
My husband (ex) id doing our divorce paperwork himself. I just took a look at the website for the county of Alameda and saw that he had filed some paperwork as follows:
1. Declaration Re: Default or Uncontested Judgment filed for, his name.
2. Judgment of Dissoulution Filed.
3. Notice of Entry of Judgment filed.
What exactly does this mean? I appreciate your assistance.
THank you.

Sounds like your divorced. He must've filed it as a no contest/default divorce. It's not uncommon when both parties agree to the divorce to do it that way, but he should have provided you with all of the paperwork he filed so you know you didn't get ripped off. If he didn't, go to the courthouse and check the file. If there's anything improper about the property/debt division, file a motion to set aside default judgement.
