Legal Question in Family Law in California
Can mediation be scheduled in a different court? My case is in San Fernando, CA but i'm scheduled for mediation in Pomona, CA. Can that happen if the case has not been transferred?

The meditation does not change based on the case filing. Your case is assigned to a mediator. In Los Angeles, the parties can either pick a mediator that they agree to, or the court assigns one. I assume that you were ordered by the court to go to this mediator. If you picked on, and Pomona is too far away, you should pick a new one. If the court picked one, there are ways of having a different mediator assigned. Did you ask your own attorney about this, or have you been choosing to represent yourself?
