Legal Question in Family Law in California
Medical Attention
My ex-husband is administering medical care to our daughter with whom we share custody. It states in the court order that he is to share medical information with me. My daughter is receiving care from a chiropractor that I do not approve of. Can I write that doctor, even though I did not hire him, and relay to him that I want him to cease administering medical attention to my child, and must he comply with my wishes.

Re: Medical Attention
This would be difficult to do unless your child's doctor would testify that the chiropractic treatment is harmful to your child. The other option would be to request an order that all optional medical treatment must be agreed upon by both parents. You need to plan your approach carefully in this case to avoid the appearance of being a complainer, and controling parent.
