Mental Health
Our son is a 37 year old paranoid schizophenic. His condition has progressed to the delusional stage and he will not take his meds. We can no longer take care of him. How can we get him into a group home. He will not consent. If we need a lawyer what kind of lawyer?

To force him to take medication you would have to be appointed his conservator, with authority to make medical decisions and force him to take medication. If he is a danger to himself or others he can be held in the hospital psychiatric ward under 5150.
