Legal Question in Family Law in California

I am mentally ill. My doctor is putting me on an unpaid medical leave of absence from work. Do I need to pay alimony while I am on the unpaid medical leave of absence?

Support must be stopped by a court order. File and serve ASAP a motion to reserve or reduce support.

I agree with Ms. Kock. If you have a court order to pay spousal support, you are in violation of the order if you don't. Only another court order will stop or modify the existing one.
