Legal Question in Family Law in California
I am in the military and have to move to Italy. Can my wife's ex-husband stop us from leaving the country with our daughter if he is the father? Currently they have joint custody in California.

It is very likely he can stop it. At the very least, if you take her without a court order modifying the custody schedule and allowing the move, you and your wife will face criminal charges.
