If I'm in the military can my wife up and leave and then file a divorce in the other state

Most states require residency for some period before they will exercise jurisdiction over a marriage. In California, at least one of the spouses must reside in California for six months, and in the same county for four months, before filing for divorce or the filing is invalid.
