Legal Question in Family Law in California

I am in the Military and I will be stable for next two years meaning I will not be moving.My son lives with his father, I filed a modification because I get 8 hours a month. I have now put in for joint custody do I have a chance. This is the best interest of the child.

The court always likes both parents to be involved in the childs life. If there is no reason besides the fact that you are in the military I think you can get joint custody. There are lots of protections and notice benefits that military personnel get in the divorce process.
