Legal Question in Family Law in California

minor attacked by her older sibling who is an adult

i am a minor living in a home of 5. i have 3 siblings and we do not get along. my older sister is eighteen, she will be nineteen soon - monday afternoon approximately at 3:30 p.m. we engaged in a fight in which was not mutual as i never hit, pushed, scratched or attacked her in any way besides having her hair tangled in my fingers probably 15-20 minutes into the fight. during this time she repeatedly kicked me, punched me, got my brother to attack me along side her by calling him out of the house saying, ''i do this for you - come get [me] out of the car'' - (the fight took place in our family car)

i have multiple bruises, stitches in my left knee which is also sprained, a sprained wrist, bruises on my arm included one from a bite i received from her. The violence is evident... i do not know what to do though and i have no idea what the consequences would be. can someone please help to inform me of the legal issues concerning this incident with my sister. (also, this is not something that happened only monday)

Make a report to the police and to Child Protective Services.

Your parents may also be prosecuted for failure to protect you.

Other consequences: you may be placed in a foster home for your own safety. Your sister may be prosecuted and jailed.

Your personal safety comes first.
