Legal Question in Family Law in California

Minor child custody-No legal doc-wish to relocate

X boyfriend and I have 3.5yo daughter. No formal

custody arrangement. We assumed 50/50 custody

arrangement until now. Altho child expenses have been

covered more than 50% by me since birth, she has spent

50% of her time with her father at his home since

14mo. we were never married and never lived together.

i need to relocate, possibly out of state, to afford a

better living situation. recently i discover her

father has had family money and has never paid the

fair 50-50 share of child support according to his

real worth rather than income alone. Can I leave

without his agreement? will i lose custody of her if i

relocate? What do
