Legal Question in Family Law in California

a minor's rights

i would like to know if there is an age limit for a minor to make legal decisions. my ex won't allow us to move 3 hours away even though the child would desperatley like to move. visitations could even remain the same. just wondering how long we may have to wait before we can live in the same city as the child's entire family?

Re: a minor's rights

If father will not agree to the move you will have to get a court order allowing the move. To do this you should seriously consider retaining an attorney to represent in this matter. Your chances of obtaining the move away order should be very good.
