Legal Question in Family Law in California

The minute order by judge was entered on 3/28/2012 on my motion (petitioner) regarding family law. Judge had asked respondent lawyer (my Ex-husband's) to prepare the oder after hearing. Since then we have not heard back from them regarding the order. Is there a time frame for respondent's lawyer to prepare the order? What can I do?

Thanks,

Mina

Proposed orders are governed by California Rules of Court, rule 3.1312. If the prevailing party fails to prepare and submit a proposed order as required, any other party may do so. You can read the text of the rule here: http://www.courtinfo.ca.gov/cms/rules/index.cfm?title=three&linkid=rule3_1312
