Legal Question in Family Law in California

I Miss My Son

I lost my 4yr old son. He was placed in a foster home by DCFS after I had been arrested. I tried fighting for him but the court terminated my rights and made him adoptable. I had done all that was required in my case plan but was told that it was ''too little, too late''. I was told that my son was too young to have to keep moving around and that he would be better off staying with his foster parents who had every intention on adopting him. Basiclly I was denied a chance to be a mother to my son. I was going to just give up and let this happen but I want my baby back. He is mine and should be with me and his sister. I lost my daughter at the same time but her father has custody now. I get visitation with my daughter every other weekend. We were told that my son and daughter would still be able to keep in contact but so far she has heard nothing from her brother and it has already been 4 months. Is there anything I can do to get him back now? How would I go about this? My social worker has never worked to help me. If I am unable to get him back right away, is there a way a family member could petition to get him? I miss my son and I want another chance. I can't see being without him for the rest of my life or when/if he finds me.

Re: I Miss My Son

i really need to know more about your case. why were you arrested? why was your son taken? what does any of it have to do with your parenting skills? can you provide a stable healthy home? have any of your children been taken in the past? why?
