Legal Question in Family Law in California
modification child custody
There is way too much to preface but I will make an attempt at brevityI am single, pre-divorce Stay-at-Home Mom, daughters are 12 and nine. My ex-husband, an emotional and verbal abuser, has continued his reign of terror in the Alameda County Superior Family Law Courtroom, after walking out of the family home November 2001. He made a promise/threat to my Mother, Sure I was the one who moved out, youre your daughter is the one who filed for divorce, and I will see to it that she suffers, she will be penniless, homeless, living in then gutter, and I WILL have CUSTODY of our daughters!
Following mandated mediation, Family Court services Mediator recommended that we undergo a child custody evaluation, including psychological testing, primary focus: to disabuse his false allegations that I abused prescription medications, and he was to be evaluated for his inability to say anything nice about me and it's potentially adverse affects to our daughters.

Re: modification child custody
You should hire an attorney to help you with childcustody. Custody is notoriously difficult and emotionally draining, an attorney by your side can help you steer through it. Good luck.
As always, please consult an attorney in your area if you have further questions.
