Legal Question in Family Law in California

Modification of visitation

My lawyer never showed up in court so my ex-husband got sole custody of our daughter and my son which is not his biological child. I was given monitored visitation of our daughter, age 5. I had a monitor for the first year but she quit and I have not been able to visit my daughter for the past two years. (I have to pay for the monitor and can no longer afford the fee.) How can I change to non-monitored visitation and get a set visitation schedule made so my ex does not dictate when I can see her?

Re: Modification of visitation

the only way is to go back to court and try to get the order modified.
