Legal Question in Family Law in California

Modification of visitation

My ex has visitation wed & thru from after school to 7pm and every other week end. For the last 3 weeks the visitation has been cancelled all but 1 day. Proir to that Dr appointments were made on visitation days. So therefore all visits were cancelled . When ever anything comes the appointments are made on the boys days. He does not make the visits up. He does nothing extra except what the court order says.

I want to stop the midweek visits and add a exrta weekend or a sunday or a day that he cannot disappoint this boy.

Can I do it. Will the courts listen to me?

Re: Modification of visitation

you can ask the court to adjust the schedule but you cannot force the father to see the kids any more than he chooses to.
