Legal Question in Family Law in California

modifying child support

I am currently in the process of asking for an increase in child support to include daycare for our son who goes three times a week. However, I know that the need for the daycare will increase by the end of the year. How should I go about this? Should I mention it in court that I will be going back again for an increase later in the year? Thank you for any information, I truly appreciate it.

Re: modifying child support

Ask the judge to order payment on all child care that is necessary for purposes of employment or education necessary for employment. It is a standard order that the court will order 1/2 of child care. You will then provide the other parent with copies of the receipts for child care and they will reimburse you. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
