Your question implies either some unusual circumstances or a lack of understanding of California law.
One would need to review your underlying support orders in order to answer your question and explain your options. Typically child support ends either at age 18, 19 or completion of high school. Your son being in college, he is obviously past high school. I suggest that you consult with an experienced family law lawyer. Experience is not expensive, it's priceless!

You should set up an OSC (order to show cause) hearing to address the change in circumstances brought on by your child reaching majority and other considerations (his/her employment)

if there has been a change in circumstances, such as your child reaching the age of majority and/or working fulltime while in college, you should request an OSC hearing with the court to get a modification of your original child support order to take into consideration such new changes in circumstances. if you would like further assistance here, feel free to email me directly with your contact information for a free phone consultation.
