Legal Question in Family Law in California
too much money and no kids
I recently divorced and became final this past April. My former attorney was basically no help and pretty much pathoetic. I have ben ordered to pay 2106.00 per month due to the fact that my ex-wife doesn't and won't work. Due to me being honest with the mediatior for FCS, she took everything I had said and completely twisted everything around. I have been ordered by the judge to see a shrink out in town, in order to maybe have any type of visitation. The only thing is that I see a military therapists, and have been for over a year. Everything I had done has been voulentary, and things for me have been good, other than the fact I haven't seen my kids in over 6 mos. Can someone help me.

I do not know why you haven't seen your children. Do you have visitation rights? If you do and your x is preventing you from seeing them then you may have your rights enforced by a contempt order. If you do not have visitation rights then you need to file an OSC to establish them. Call me directly at (619) 222-3504.
