Legal Question in Family Law in California

My ex wants money and to see my kids

We were together for 5 years. Not married but common law. We have lived in our last place for 1 year. She broke up and moved out 5 weeks ago. I gave her $800.00 and a laptop computer my freind gave me. She is not on the lease do to bad credit. She didnt give me a 30 day notic. Something happened to her network card when I unplugged the computer and delivered it to her. She did pay the first, last rent were I am. In the past I paid the whole rent and bills for 2 years when she lived with me. She is not the mother of my kids She wants $800.00 for the last month and $100.00 for the network card for the labtop I gave her. She wants visitation with my kids who live with there real mother the next town over. What rights do I have?

Re: My ex wants money and to see my kids

First, she has NO right to visit your kids, NONE. Second, there is no such thing as common law marriage in CA. she has NO rights at all. tell her to jump in a lake. if she thinks you owe her money let her go to small claims court.
