Legal Question in Family Law in California

Mother abruptly moved child out of state

I live in Hawaii. We have visitation orders for California and Hawaii. Mother moved to Minn and emailed me two weeks later to tell me so. This makes all agreements previously ordered and agreed upon impossible. What are my options?

In a general sense, your options are to either (1) work out a stiupulated modification of the prior order or (2) go back to court and ask the court to modify your custody\visitation orders. Obviously there has been a change in circumstances.

For a specific opinion regarding your individual circumstances, I suggest that you consult with an experienced family law lawyer. Experience is not expensive, it's priceless!
