mother attempted suicide

A mother attemted suicide, was put into a mental health clinic. Was diagnosed with depression. Has an over two week stay and gets the issues solved, and will have follow up treatment. Family looking to take 12 year old son away due to the suicide attempt. Is this an easy battle to fight legaly for the mom to keep the child. No substance abuse or neglect at all to the child.

No this is not an easy battle. The court will look at the stability of the mother. The issues are too complex to give you an answer that has any credibility on the probable outcome. I suggest that you talk to an attorney so that he can obtain all of the relevant facts. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
