if my mother signed a paper saying my great grandmother has gardianship over me until im 18 am i llowed to live with my mother or is that illegal?

In California guardianships are only recognized by a court order. There is not informal guardianship. If the court never granted a guardianship there is none. Your guardians can allow you live with someone but they do not have the right to insist.
